CustomVisTM designs, develops and markets surgical laser vision correction technology to ophthalmologists worldwide. The Company was founded in Australia in 2001 by respected physicist Dr Paul van Saarloos to address opportunities that he had identified in the international laser vision correction industry.
CustomVisTM currently employs a team of highly experienced professionals in ophthalmic refractive industry, each with at least 10 years experience. It presently employs in excess of 30 staff, engineers, scientists, technicians and clinicians internationally.
It is also listed in London Stock Exchange (AIM) through successful capital raised in July 2003. CustomVisTM has in house production and R&D facilities in Perth, Western Australia.
CustomVis has achieved a significant regulatory milestone with the Australian/European approval being granted (TGA/CE Mark) enabling sales in Europe and Australia in addition to other countries. Currently the company is seeking US (FDA) approvals. The company is gearing up the production facilities and recruiting additional staff to keep pace with growing sales orders worldwide.
